How to find your player's MAC address or device key

Many IPTV players are activated with an identifier they display on screen: a MAC address, a device ID or a device key. Here is where to find it and how to send it without typos.

Updated

Where players show it

Open the player you installed. The identifier is usually in one of these places:

  • On the home or welcome screen, often at the bottom or in a corner.
  • In Settings, under a section such as About, Account, Device or User info.
  • On a dedicated activation screen shown the first time you open the player.

Use the one the player shows

Many players generate their own MAC address. It can be different from the network MAC address in your TV's own settings. For activation, always send the identifier displayed inside the player.

How to read it without mistakes

  • A MAC address has six pairs of characters separated by colons, for example A1:B2:C3:D4:E5:F6.
  • It only uses the digits 0 to 9 and the letters A to F, so a round character is always the digit zero, never the letter O.
  • Take a photo of the screen: it is the simplest way to avoid typing errors.
  • If the player also shows a device key, send both.

How to send it to us

Send the identifier with your device type and the player's name, either in the free-trial or subscription request form, or on WhatsApp. We never ask for passwords or payment card details.

General information, reviewed by the Streamovas team. Player menus change between versions, so the exact wording on your screen may differ.
